Ms. Eleta Brown

age: 88

Ms. Brown was born in St. Thomas, Jamaica, during this project Ms. Brown had a lot to educate us on, she spoke on motherhood, politics in Jamaica, and her outlook on her life and family. She was joined by her grandson, “Pedro”, who also assisted in this project by taking BTS for me.

I had such the pleasure sitting and getting to know Ms. Brown, and left with some gems to keep near to me. One thing her grandson mentioned to me was he as a photographer/videographer, realized that him and his family rarely have pictures with his grandmother, and this project made him realize that needed to change. This is what Pictures Last Forever is about, even if you don’t get a chance to get a loved ones image and story with me, I hope it encourages you to stop and take a moment and capture memories with your family/ loved ones whenever you can, while you can.
